No se puede traducir algo que no existe en la lengua de llegada y, que yo sepa, al menos en España, así es. Si tu traducción es para Perú y ahí tampoco existe esa celebración, te sugiero que dejes el término en versión original y, entre paréntesis, la explicación “Sibs and Kids Day” (Día en que los estudiantes residentes pueden invitar a sus hermanos y/o amigos a visitarlos en su colegio/universidad).

"Sibs & Kids Weekend is a weekend in which any Ohio State faculty, staff, or students can invite any child, niece, nephew, brother, sister, cousin, or friend of the family to the campus to experience the excitement of life as a Buckeye! Fun activities and events for Sibs & Kids of all ages will be held throughout the weekend of March 27-29, 2015."

Therefore, you could translate it as "Día del hermano y el niño", "Día de la familia" or something like that.

  -> Puesto que esa celebración, que yo sepa, no existe en los países de lengua hispana (al menos, no en España), hay que dejar el término en lengua original, y entre paréntesis la explicación. Mi intención ha sido explicar de qué va ese día.
