I have been studying translation theories during the past 2 years as part of my Master's program, and it seems that the meaning of any utterance almost never "remains clear" as there is, more often than not, more than one layer of meaning to any given utterance, just like one of those who offered a translation showed in her response, insightfully, I should say.

I think it's non-pro too, but not being a member I can't vote. It's pretty obvious 'ser' is missing, and 'aceitar' 'entretanto' 'and 'positivas' are also wrongly spelled, but the meaning remains clear.

I don't think it's non-pro, because as you can see from one of the responses, there is something implied that did not appear, in ostensible fashion, in the original utterance.

That is one nasty sentence, with three negatives, especially since it is supposed to be positive! I would remove the negatives, and say something like;
'In any case, we might as well accept the traffic since we are stuck it in anyway, and use the situation to generate positive feelings.'

Aqui parece faltar uma palavra. O correto IMO seria "a não ser aceitar o tráfego"
