Sorry, I don't speak much Italian. I'm writing a birthday card for an Italian lady who's reached the ripe old age of 95. The card has a picture of a garden with flowers on the front so I've said something like 'that's nearly a century you've been cultivating your own garden' (hint of Voltaire there). I want to follow this with 'we wish you many more fruitful years', a kind of play on words with garden while at the same time wishing her an even longer life. Would 'Ti auguriamo ancora molti anni fruttuosi!' be accurate and convey the right idea? Somehow I don't think Google Translate (sorry!) has got it right with 'Vi auguriamo molti anni più fecondi' (!!) I do use the 'tu' form to this lady. Thanks.

Un augurio perché le stagioni del tuo giardino continuino a regalarti fioriture sempre più abbondanti

... perché il tuo giardino continui a regalarti magnifici, profumatissimi fiori

... perché con ogni nuova stagione il tuo giardino sia sempre ricco di fiori e profumi

Non che mi senta particolarmente versata, ma per una novantacinquenne si può fare un'eccezione!
