Cooking / Culinary / shellfish
Spanish term or phrase: Langosta / Bogavante
When both appear on a menu, how to differentiate?

MARISCOS Y FRUTOS DEL MAR
Cangrejo real 147 € / kg
Bogavante canadiense 42 € / unidad
Bogavante mediterráneo 200 € / kg
Langosta mediterránea 227 € / kg
Cigalas 52 € / kg

Would bogavante be clawed lobster and langosta simply lobster?

Thanks

English translation:Spiny Lobster / Clawed Lobster
Explanation:
In this cases I would use Spiny and Clawed, as just saying Lobster can apply to all of them

Crayfish (crawfish) / Lobster

Explanation:
From what I've seen in menus (Google search) they tend to call the Bogavante (I searched the Portuguese term Lavagante) Lobster, while the Langosta is a bit smaller.

American (true/northern/Maine) lobster / European (common) lobster

Explanation:

Homarus gammarus, known as the European lobster or common lobster, is a species of clawed lobster from the eastern Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea and parts of the Black Sea. It is closely related to the American lobster, H. americanus. It may grow to a length of 60 cm (24 in) and a mass of 6 kilograms (13 lb), and bears a conspicuous pair of claws.

and

La langosta americana, langosta del norte o langosta de Maine (Homarus americanus) es un crustáceo decápodo de la familia Nephropidae.

The American lobster, Homarus americanus, is a species of lobster found on the Atlantic coast of North America, chiefly from Labrador to New Jersey. It is also known as true lobster, northern lobster, or Maine lobster.[3][4]

PS, sorry it comes out as quite illegible here, but if you visit the "marinespecies" links you'll get a better picture of the officially accepted names for these beasts.

You have a real headache here because you have to provide names for three different dinners!
Maybe European lobster, American lobster and spiny lobster (which is not directly related to the lobster, but takes its name!) and this is all complicated by information such as:
Lobster - FoodUniversity.com

www.fooduniversity.com/ foodu/ seafood_c/ resources/ shellfish/ Lobster/ Lobster.html - Proxy - Highlight

The Mediterranean lobster or Spiny lobster is often called Rock lobster, crawfish or Langoustine with itsThe North Atlantic clawed lobster tends to have a sweeter taste than that of the Spiny lobster.
