Sto traducendo uno studio clinico per la valutazione di due farmaci in pazienti affetti da mieloma multiplo recidivante.

La frase in questione è "The multiplicity for the primary efficacy endpoint of PFS, and the secondary endpoints of OS, ORR, and neuropathy events will be adjusted to control overall Type-I error at 0.025. The multiplicity in testing these secondary endpoints will be adjusted using a group sequential Holm procedure (Ye 2013). This method is a closed testing procedure and preserves the family-wise error rate at 0.025 in the strong sense." Non ho idea di cosa si intenda per "in the strong sense" nella frase (Questo metodo corrisponde a una procedura di test chiusa e conserva il tasso di errore di primo tipo per una famiglia di test a 0,025 IN THE STRONG SENSE).
