"Mannem vorne" (Mannheim d'abord), c'est par cette formule fleurant bon le dialecte local que les gens de Mannheim mettent l'emphase (vocale) sur la place qu'occupe leur ville dans leur cœur.

onomatopéique est en fait la traduction de lautmalerisch, mais phonétique me semble mieux coller ds ce contexte.

Explanation:
L'utilisation de "lautmalerisch" dans ce contexte est erronée. Effectivement, cela voudrait dire que les "Mannheimer" imitent leur ville par des sons. A part "brumm brumm" pour exprimer qu'il y de la circulation je ne vois pas comment on pourrait donner une "lautmalerische Betonung" de n'importe quelle ville.
Etant donné que l'auteur du texte allemand ne connaissait pas la signification de "lautmalerisch" (ni de "Betonung" d'ailleurs qui ne convient pas non plus, et "Betonung ... FÜR ihre Stadt" me paraît pas très réussi non plus), je dirais qu'on peut traduire très librement. Si l'on voulait décrire linguistiquement ce qu'est "Mannem" (l'auteur l'a essayé) ça donnerait par exemple "notation phonétique de la prononciation régionale".
