Jest urządzeniem wchodzącym w skład przedpłatowego systemu opłat za energię. Zasadniczymi elementami systemu przedpłatowego oprócz energomatu są liczniki przedpłatowe, karta szyfrująca oraz oprogramowanie do obsługi systemu.


Energomat, w swoim wyglądzie i zasadzie działania podobny do bankomatu lub parkometru, daje odbiorcy swobodę zakupu energii elektrycznej przez całą dobę, w każdy dzień tygodnia. Łatwa i wygodna obsługa urządzenia pozwala klientowi na szybki zakup energii nawet w sytuacji wstrzymania dostawy energii elektrycznej z powodu wyczerpania kredytu.

neutral  Andrzej Mierzejewski: Co to jest POR? Nie występuje w tym tekście. Poza tym tłumaczenie jest bardzo kiepskiej jakości, np. co to za kwota "10g"? Energomat, in his appearance... Reszta z płatności = "the rest" itp. Lepiej nie wspierac się takimi tekstami.
