French term or phrase: Talonnettes maçonnées
"pose des talonnettes maçonnées pour support des menuiseries aluminiums"

I have a picture of what this looks like: it is a low raised concrete edging that juts out from the foot of a door frame and is intended to bear the aluminium door structure. Does any one have the exact construction technical term please?

I thought of concrete door base/support... or even possibly a door riser?

Talonnettes maconnées
Masonry door sill

Explanation:
Not at all an expert in the field (apart from several house renovations and extensions over the years) but this is what it sounds like to me.

talonnette in my experience is always something used to raise the level or height of something else.

Sills in the plural of course.

Asker: Thank you for your answer. I think I would use concrete sill in this context as the picture clearly shows it is built in concrete

I used "concrete" instead of "stone/masonry" because you specifically mentioned "concrete edging" in your question.

Example sentence(s):
  • and aluminum angle at the bottom to hold the louver above the concrete ledge
  • Panels are custom made to fit your pit and rest on the formed concrete ledge
