Ciao,
per rimanere fedeli al source e dato il carattere del testo io andrei per un "nuove trame" (o linee), anche se in realtà se potessi mi sposterei verso una traduzione meno "fedele" optando per "più carattere"...

Texture è un termine che molto spesso (es. moda) viene anche lasciato in Inglese, ma qui non non mi sembra proprio il caso.
