paso alto Explanation: En el artículo de la revista Cardiovascular Business titulado "SCCT: High-pitch CT slashes pediatric radiation dose" dicen: • “Pitch is how fast the patient goes through the scanner, how fast the image can be acquired. So the flash scanner is about 48 cm in one shot. Standard pitch is anywhere from 0.8 to 1, variable pitch is up to 2.5 or 3, and the highest pitch is 3.4.” – http://www.cardiovascularbusiness.com/topics/imaging/scct-hi... Por lo tanto, parece ser un concepto similar a "thread pitch" o paso de rosca, que es la distancia entre dos hilos sucesivos de la rosca y equivale a lo que avanza un tornillo con cada giro completo. En este caso es la distancia que avanza la camilla del paciente dentro del escáner entre dos cortes de imagen sucesivos. Como dicen en ese artículo, "high-pitch scan" equivale a "flash scan". En cuanto a la referencia de Anditectnica que da Mónica, basta referirse al original en inglés para descubrir que el término original es "high tilt." Claro, tampoco es "tono alto". Saludos, Daniel |
