Polish term or phrase: zagłówkowe doły
Krótki tekst opisujący feeder:

Dwa ciężary wyrzutowe, dwie optymalne długości do wyboru, trzy wymienne szczytówki w zestawie.

Ten zawracający prąd płynie wzdłuż brzegu w kierunku przeciwnym, niż główny strumień rzeki i dopływa do poprzedniej ostrogi gdzie łączy się z głównym nurtem.

A wing dam or wing dike is a manmade barrier that, unlike a conventional dam, only extends partway into a river. These structures force water into a fast-moving center channel which reduces the rate of sediment accumulation while slowing water flow near the riverbanks.

A groyne (groin in the United States) is a rigid hydraulic structure built from an ocean shore (in coastal engineering) or from a bank (in rivers) that interrupts water flow and limits the movement of sediment.

In rivers

River groynes (spur dykes, wing dykes, or wing dams) are often constructed nearly perpendicular to the riverbanks, beginning at a riverbank with a root and ending at the regulation line with a head. They maintain a channel to prevent ice jamming, and more generally improve navigation and control over lateral erosion, that would form from meanders. Groynes have a major impact on the river morphology: they cause autonomous degradation of the river

There are two popular ways to fish a wing dam. Anchoring is most common, parking the boat on the front side, tip or back side of the wing dam.

-> Thanks, George. I should have heeded your fishing advice regarding ostrogi from the start. I hope you catch the "big one" next time you fish.
