Je traduis un texte de l'anglais vers le français. Ce document est une traduction du norvégien et je suis "coincée" avec un mot
Voici ce que me dit la personne qui m'a commandée la traduction :

"Regarding the mysterious term ... this is our Norwegian linguist's explanation, hope it will be helpful.

the texts contained a number of specialized technical terms. This was one of them.
I have researched the subject. “Track traverser” appears to be the closest translation of the Norwegian “skinnekryss”,
and appears to refer to a device that is installed on two tracks that cross or intersect each other.
The term “track traverser” is in common usage in such contexts."

Apparemment le terme "track traverser" n'existe pas en anglais et donc impossible à traduire pour moi en français.

Le document est sur les transformateurs dans les centrales électriques. Ce mot apparait dans une liste de documents présentant les différentes parties de l'arbre du réacteur au sein du transformateur .

Skinnekonstruksjon brukt i sporveksler, sporkryss m.v. som tillater at to skinne krysser hverandre. I en allminnelig sporveksel er det kun ett skinnekryss, i et sporkryss og dobbelt kryssveksel vil det være to skinnekryss. [1]
