German term or phrase: abschieben
I have a very scanty recipe instruction which is 'Fleisch abschieben'.

I have tried to find a culinary meaning for abschieben but in vain. Can anyone help me in this context?

"Majonnaise herstellen, Fleisch abschieben"

This is the name of the recipe this instruction comes from:
Duo vom Rinderfilet – Im Trockenfrucht-Nuss-Mantel und als Tatar im Filoteig,
Thymiansauce, Spinatpueree, Waldpilzmarmelade, Sautierte Waldpilze und ein
gebackenes Onsenei mit Trueffel

English translation:place in the oven
Explanation:
Place the meat in the oven after searing. Grill or fry on both sides to make them crisp and seal in the juices. The cooking process is then finished in the oven.

Often done with steaks. For example, Filet Mignon

"By starting the filet mignon on the stove but finishing it in the oven, you get the best of both worlds--A steak with a crispy outer crust but tender, juicy, and perfectly pink on the inside."
