I can't quite make out what exactly the writer is trying to say with

Hälsa på Kindahönsen, en akut hotad hönsras där Kulbacken tar hand om en genbanksbesättning höns.

Something like 'Meet the Kinda hen, an extremely threatened breed of hen where Kulbacken has taken on the task of...

and then it doesn't quite make sense any more
