English translation: connective tissue

Latvian term or phrase: saiskauds
There is an accent above the 2nd "s" and below the "k". A person fell while ice skating. She broke a bone in her leg and had a lot of bruising. The other thing that happened was: sarauts saiskauds. I thought this would be a torn tendon, but tendon is 'cipsla'.
I was surprised not to find 'saiskauds' in the 2-volume Latvian-Russian dictionary.
Thanks for helping me find the answer.

Explanation:
It seems there is a mistake in the Latvian text as in Latvian there is no such word as "saiskauds". But there is "saistaudi" - connective tissue

If it is meant "saišķauds", it is the same as "saistaudi", though very rarely used.
