...taki skrót myślowy: "timeslots per radio required for GSM/GPRS", albo "A 9 radio maximum is allowed per LAP-D timeslot." Jest to fragment specyfikacji dotyczącej parametrów GSM. W tym fragmencie obliczana jest ilość koniecznych szczelin czasowych. Mam mały problem z określeniem do czego konkretnie odnosi się "radio". Czy mogłyby to być kanały radiowe?? Please, help! :)

Mała efektywność transmisji danych sieci komórkowej GSM w trybie HSCSD stała się bezpośrednim powodem opracowania przez ETSI (począwszy od 1992 r.) standardu uniwersalnej bezprzewodowej łączności pakietowej GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), promowanej w ramach standardu komórkowego GSM faza 2+. Bezprzewodowy przekaz danych w trybie komutacji pakietów pozwala na bardziej efektywne wykorzystanie dostępnego pasma radiowego, poprzez statystyczne multipleksowanie jednego fizycznego kanału radiowego.
