'Butt dial' is a colloquialism that more or less means "accidentally calling through a cellphone, normally when one sits on the cellphone itself".

However, I'm having trouble converting it into Spanish...is there a colloquialism that could work?

En Sudamérica. Aunque con tantos teléfonos inteligentes de pantalla táctil, el marcado con poto se está volviendo cosa del pasado. Sí me ha pasado con el teléfono inteligente al ponerlo en el bolsillo de la camisa ("te marqué con la tetilla")... en fin.
