Spanish term or phrase: fueron tornándose
Salve. Sto traducendo un testo turistico su Baeza che contiene molti riferimenti alle opere di Machado. In questa frase in particolare, non riesco a trovare un verbo adatto per tradurre "fueron tornándose". Tra l'altro, non capisco il perché del femminile dell'aggettivo cristiana. Sarà una svista?

"Siete años vivió Antonio Machado en Baeza y la ciudad se volvió machadiana. Sus campos de Castilla fueron tornándose verde olivar, árabe y cristiana."

Direi così, perché la forma esatta in italiano non esiste. O giocherei con quel senso.
Per quel che riguarda "cristiana" può essere una svista o anche un modo de fare rima con "machadiana".

Per quel che riguarda "cristiana" può essere una svista o anche un modo de fare rima con "machadiana".
