Das Bundesamt bewertet diese Maßnahme als "zusätzliche, überobligatorische Sicherheitseinrichtungen am Fahrzeug" im Sinne der Anlage zu Ziffer 2 der Richtlinie zur Förderung der Sicherheit und der Umwelt in Unternehmen des Güterkraftverkehrs mit schweren Nutzfahrzeugen. Das heißt, diese Anschaffung als Sicherheitseinrichtung ist grundsätzlich förderfähig.
