Hier geht es um Türklinken/Türdrücker (=lever handle in diesem Fall):

"A special spring supported clamp follower holds the lever handle horizontal for perfect poise."

Gemeint ist hier eine federunterstützte Klemmnuss - diese "holds the lever handle horizontal for perfect poise." Sie sorgt also dafür, dass die Türklinke waagerecht steht, aber was ist dann perfect poise? Ich verstehe das im Sinne von Gleichgewicht, also als Ergänzung zur waagerechten Stellung der Klinke, die somit nicht herunterhängt o.ä. Nur klinkt das für meinen Geschmack arg theoretisch. Was meint ihr bzw. hat jemand einen Vorschlag für eine andere Formulierung?
