efecto de oído / efecto de orden
Explanation:
Mayor indicators:
-4 response conditions
-ear effect
-order effect
-reversals
-Type A
Minor indicators: Perseveration, Quiet Rehearsal, and Delay responding

Explanation:
Efecto de oído
Each of the patient’s ear sensitivity (right and left) is a “variable” in the study. The Ear Effect test shows if there is symmetry or asymmetry in hearing: left and right ear (test is done for each ear in order to compare results).

The ear effect as a function of age and hearing loss.
Many studies have shown that the right ear statistically is slightly more sensitive than the left ear, particularly in the male adult population. In this study, we examined the lateral difference in hearing sensitivity, termed the ear effect here, in an industrial noise-exposed, nonshooting population, by sex, age, and hearing level... The magnitude of the ear effect was found to be significantly related to the hearing threshold level. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6853839

Efecto de Orden

Order Effect
- The effect on performance attributable to the order in which treatments were administered. http://www.uvm.edu/~dhowell/methods7/Glossary/Glossary.html
- Performance on a series of tasks or a composite task often depends on the order in which the tasks or subtasks are addressed. http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~howe/EMAI/ch3/node11.html

neutral  Estela Quintero-Weldon: Hi. Just a comment: the original question (ear effect), and also the translation for the second question (order effect) should not be entered in the glossary as it is (single question with a double-barrel answer).
