Une championne olympique se souvient de sa médaille aux 800 mètres (une course où on doit rester dans son couloir les premiers 120 mètres....). Ceci est un script vidéo. Je ne suis pas certaine de nombreuses expressions ici dont "I was way off the back". Merci de vos lumières !

I just remember being totally in the zone, I knew what my race plan was …and adopted it and it was actually quite scary because when I first started off with the gun going, you know at the 200 metres point I was like about 30 metres off of the field, I remember coming round on the home straight for the first time as well I was way off the back but it was just in my head that I needed to run as even as possible, I set myself my split to reach 200 metres and I was looking at the clock and I was just bang on what I wanted and it just happened that I ended up closing up towards the rest of the field and I remember obviously coming round the top bend and I got barged by XXX as she was overtaking another athlete and actually that was a blessing in disguise for me because when I was trying to make my move it was too early and by having that knock-back made me kind of almost wake up and check back and think right hold and I did and the hardest part of the race was probably the last 50 metres

neutral  kashew: I go more with the idea of separated from the pack. But it's not clear.
