I'm looking for a title for this type of study. No further info (it's in a list of documents) but it relates to cinemas, hotels etc.

customer footfall analysis

Explanation:
www.wingsgrp.com/Surveillance.aspx
Customer footfall analysis by gender can improve the sales revenue by fine-tuning the product line-up more to the actual customer segment and helps to ...

http://www.theretailbulletin.com/news/virgin_puts_technology...
'As part of its ongoing programme, Virgin is bringing customer footfall analysis in-house and will be using its Microstrategy application to monitor conversion rate and average transaction value. Also for the future will be market basket analysis and better performance analysis of promotional campaigns.

'“We haven't yet expunged Excel spreadsheets from our business,” adds Johnson, “but we do have one version of the truth and we've reduced IT workloads so that our analysts have more time to develop, redesign and reconfigure systems instead of simply responding to business user requires.”'

store traffic, levels of sales conversion and the effectiveness

Number of entries into the store and the sales
conversion rates

Conversion from window to store according to footfall or

neutral  Helene Tammik: Footfall usually refers to retail premises and is a count of how many people pass through, while "fréquentation" is about habits, how often you go back to the cinema/restaurant (and also maybe patterns such as which days/times you tend to go?)
