agree  FX Fraipont (X): yes, but sentence goes on : "on obtient une apparence lisse ou finement granuleuse. Ainsi les blocs peuvent être sablés, adoucis, vieillis par tambourinage, bouchardés, ... " - "bouchardé" "tambouriné" is definitely not smooth.
