nothing was left to chance 详见下方 Explanation: 你的译法是正确的。 Means you cover all you possible setbacks. Like if you had an interview, for a new job. You want to pick the best outfit, make sure you get up an extra 1/2 hour have two alarm clocks. Make sure you have a full tank of gas the night before. Have a family member, or friend double check you are up in time. Make sure all your documents reference letters, and other info are in order. Read up on the company, fully know what they do, and what your job will be. Practice with a friend what questions the interviewer might ask, and how you will answer. Shave the night before, just in case your alarms fail, and you wake up late. If you have to drive a hour away, you might want to make a dry run to the address. Even if you have a GPS. Go at least at the same time you would leave, so you can estimate the traffic, and travel time. Just in case you get lost. It means if something could go wrong you have a back up plan for as many as you can have, to fix the problem. 链接是:https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100530092339A... |
