No contexto de um jogo, é comum dizer que o jogador conseguiu uma medalha ou uma insígnia por isso ou aquilo (geralmente, por conquistar alguma coisa).

As insígnias costumam habilitar opções difernetes ou só contam para o resultado final do jogador.

Eu não usaria credencial porque parece algo muito "oficial" para um jogo, que costuma usar linguagem mais amena.
