- "Le X 2014, notre cabinet aurait reçu signification de la dénonciation écrite des moyens de défense oraux." The law firm in question had apparently dropped, and apparently taken action against, a client for non-payment of fees, and the former client appears to have responded with this "dénonciation écrite des moyens de défense oraux" in which he claimed he didn't have to pay the fees to begin with for various reasons. I can't find anything equivalent in context on Canadian websites. Any suggestions from persons familiar with Quebec law terminology would be much appreciated.
