An Egyptian made the following statement when comparing between students in Egypt and the United States:

العيال اللي في سنهم كلهم بيروحوا كلية وبيروحوا يشتغلوا، إيه الدلع والمرقعة دي؟

In his view, students in the United States work hard and have jobs when going to school (the first half of the sentence), while students in Egypt are somewhat spoiled and do not work as hard (the second half of the sentence).
