English term or phrase: LLC
I would like to know the best way to translate this phrase from American English into Latin American Spanish.

It's the translation of a legal document for a lawyer's deposition.

What is the meaning of the English abbreviation "LLC" in this context?

Is okay to translate" LLC" as "sociedad con responsabilidad limitada?

Here is the full phrase for your review:

ATTORNEY FOR DEFENDANT
Nanuet Mall, LLC

Miguel XXXXX
VS
Nanuet Mall, LLC
COURT OF COMMON PLEAS

Explanation:
I would leave it as it is because it is part of the name of the company, it is not explaining the type of company.

agree  Agustina Bellino: In Argentina, translators leave it as it is and add a comment in square brackets with the "translation"; you can use "SRL" (the acronym) in this case. It is tricky to translate one-to-one since there may be some variants according to each country's law

llc
corporación de responsabilidad limitada

Explanation:
Limited = limitado(a)
Liability = Responsabilidad
Corporation = Corporación
El termino Sociedad es muy ambiguo, en LLC se refiere exclusivamente a una corporación debido al tema de responsabilidad, aunque en terminos de impuestos sea una asociación.

Soy un experto en temas de impuestos a nivel federal, y como explique LLC es exclusivamente una entidad para evitar la doble imposición de impuestos a las corporaciones estilo C pero preservando la responsabilidad limitada.

I am sorry for switching languages at last minute, but LLC is not only a suffix, it does explain what kind of entity it is. As I said, I am an IRS expert.
