Hi, everyone! Would you help me understand this phrase, please?

"The exact hour and date of performance must be endorsed by persons performing ceremony."


This is what I understood: El celebrante del matrimonio deberá fijar la hora y fecha exacta de la celebración.

But, I don't think "fijar" is the correct term. He has to put the date and hour on the document, but "endosar" doesn't seem right either. What do you think?
