Sazrevanje (odležavanje) piva
Nakon utvrđivanja kraja primarne fermentacije počinje se sa hlađenjem fermentora. Cilindrično-konusni tankovi imaju zonsko hlađenje, u četiri zone, gde se tri nalaze na cilindričnom, a jedna na koničnom delu fermentora. Prvo se aktiviraju sve četiri zone hlađenja, a potom se isključuju jedna po jedna, od vrha ka konusu fermentora, sve dok se ne postigne temperatura od -1°C. Ovako niska temperatura ubrzava procese izbistravanja i stabilizacije piva što je neophodno za sprečavanje zamućenja piva. Hlađenje piva traje od 3-7 dana, a nakon toga pivo boravi u fermentoru još maksimalno 20 dana.

Četvrta i zadnja faza je prebacivanje u lager tankove, gde se vrši dodatna fermentacija i odležavanje piva do vremena za istakanje.

Explanation:
Ovde je verovatno reč o buradi za skladištenje piva ali pretpostavljam da su mislili na ovu podvrstu, keg burad.

Danas su u primeni i tzv. keg burad za koju još ne postoje standardi. Pod pojmom „keg” podrazumeva se metalno bure sa ugrađenom cevi za punjenje i pražnjenje i sa odgovarajućim zatvaračem. Ovaj zatvarač sprečava sušenje bureta nakon pražnjenja, tako da se olakšava njegovo pranje. Unutrašnjost bureta ostaje pod atmosferom CO2 pa se aerobni mikroorganizmi ne mogu razmnožavati.
