Hoe zou je "financial close" vertalen?

Het gaat over de financiering van een project, met een "financial close"-model. Ik heb voorlopig "financiële afsluiting", maar weet niet of dat echt acceptabel is.

"Financial Close occurs when the financing agreements together with the contracts relating to the construction and subsequent operation of the power plant are executed and the funds required to build and operate the plant are injected into the project company. Until the Project achieves Financial Close, the shareholders will fund the development of the project by providing shareholder loans (“Shareholder Loans”) to (the company)"

Explanation:
Rijkswaterstaat en BAM ondertekenen 2 juli 2010 het contract. De financiële afronding van het contract (‘financial close’) vindt naar verwachting in september 2010 plaats.

Afronding was mijn ingeving, en als je vergelijkt tussen afronding en afsluiting, komt het eerste wat vaker voor in combinatie met "financial close"

Explanation:
De betekenis blijkt duidelijk uit de context, maar er is volgens mij geen Nederlands equivalent. Als "financial close" verder niet of nauwelijks voorkomt in de tekst, zou ik het omschrijven en de zin zo beginnen: " De financieringsfase is afgesloten wanneer...
