Under s. 87 of The Road Traffic Act 1988 [1] drivers must have a valid driving licence authorising them to drive the class of vehicle they are driving otherwise they are committing the offence of driving otherwise in accordance with a licence, it states:.

1.It is an offence for a person to drive on a road a motor vehicle of any class otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class.
2.It is an offence for a person to cause or permit another person to drive on a road a motor vehicle of any class otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising that other person to drive a motor vehicle of that class.

Asker: terminas anglų k. apima ne tik vairavimą ne tos rūšies transporto priemones, bet ir kitus pažeidimus, pvz. keleivio vežimą ant galinės sėdynės su laikinomis vairavimo teisėmis, bei kt. Todėl ir vertimas turėtų būti kitoks, bendresnis.
