German term or phrase: Folgebeurkundung
This term appears in the note to an official copy of a German birth certificate.
I tend to use "subsequent amendment".
Any better ideas?
Thank you.

An amendment is always subsequent to a document. It's "a change or addition to a legal or statutory document." So "subsequent" would be tautological.
