Je bloque sur ce passage à propos d'un quartier chic de New York:

"If $14 cocktails and fancy-schmancy Village boutiquery are getting you down, maybe it’s time to pay a visit to this run-down little Ping-Pong hall."

... Et notamment sur le terme "boutiquery". D'après ce que j'ai compris, il s'agit d'une attitude constant à poser des questions "bêtes" aux vendeurs (cf. cette page: http://www.verbotomy.com/verbottle.php?jargonism_id=20457), mais je ne vois pas du tout en quoi cela irait dans le contexte du passage que j'ai à traduire.

Par défaut, j'ai mis "visite des boutiques/boutiques", mais je ne sais pas du tout si cela convient... Si vous avez des suggestions, n'hésitez pas.

I agree with Catharine's explanation. .... bobo - to give the idea of those who luuuuv boutiques, and can show off about buying stuff in this "adorable little boutique", blablabla...
and I've added tape-à-loeil for the "fancy-schmancy"...
