The hinge lug trims are fitted to the front plate on the underside of each door lug.

AND:

The adhesive takes 3-5 minutes to go firm so the hinge lug trims should be applied directly onto the underside of the front plate lugs immediately after applying the Loctite, making sure that when doing so, the hinge lug trims are positioned evenly with a consistent overhang of the front plate lug around the front and side of the trim.
