  -> 1) I only saw your French response and 2) seems a perfectly viable alternative, particularly as the references indicate this:) and GPs do say "past medical history"...I remember doctors dictating it to me, unnecessary or not:)

agree  Angela Dickson (X): Past history is used, and for a good reason - it contrasts with "presenting complaint" or "history of current condition (or pregnancy)" or similar.
