Thank you for your comment! I don't agree that "solidárias" means they somehow act together, in this or in a legal context. To me, it means that they are independently responsible. In the legal sense, it means that any of the parties being demanded is responsible for 100% of the obligation. In the case of debt, the creditor can extract 100% from any of the debtor parties (but obviously not all of them). It's just a matter of which one he can extract it from first.
Transferring this concept to the question in point, I believe that it means that either barrier must resolve the problem of the leak in the well. It is a double guarantee against leakage. And this interpretation avoids, in fact complements, the concept of "independentes". |
