La Otan suspende colaboración con Rusia.

Context:
Los titulares de Exteriores aguardarán a que el organismo militar aliado evalúe las posibles opciones aunque fuentes de esta organización apuntan al despliegue de tropas en el Este, realización de ejercicios militares y la revisión de la disposición de los activos como posibles medidas. La lista definitiva se elaborará de manera urgente en un plazo de semanas, precisan esas fuentes.

My attempt: Foreign Ministers will wait until the allied military body/the Alliance examines the possible options, though NATO sources point to the deployment of troops in the East, conducting military exercises and reviewing the disposal of assets as possible measures. The final list will be drawn up as a matter of urgency within weeks, the sources said.

Not sure if "disposal of assets" is correct in this context or if I should use another word. Also not sure if the gerund forms "conducting" and "reviewing" are really appropriate - but I can't think of an equivalent noun phrase.

I know, it's just that by "assets" they are implying more that just troops/people (they might refer to other military "assets" like arms, infrastructure, etc) than the meaning in Spanish. Actually, "activos militares" is not very common, I think it must have been taken literally from English because the most common word is "efectivos militares" (check Googlbe) so I'm not sure it tha nuance is covered here.

"Activos" aquí no se refiere a activos, en sentido contable (=Assets) sino a efectivos/fuerzas militares. Sería "military forces" o algo similiar.
Me genera duda a qué se refieren con "disposición". Creo que se refiere a la ubicación como menciona Judith.
