Hi all --

Hi all -

I am translating a medical report on an elderly patient with multiple infirmities.

In the section on clinical history there is the following description (hundreds of words string together, all in caps, few commas):

BENINGNÓ HIPERTENSIÓN ARTERIAL ENFERMEDAD CORONARIA HIPOTIROIDISMO SUBJETIVO : ASINTOMÁTICO EXAMEN FISICO TA 120/63 FC: 70XM FR: 18XM SA02. 97% CONCIENTE ORIENTADO NO DEFICIT NEUROLOGICO. HIDRATADO. CUELLO SIN MASAS CORAZÓN RÍTMICO. NO SOPLOS PULMONES CON RESPIRACIÓN VESICULAR ABDOMEN BLANDO DEPRESIBLE NO MASAS NO MEGALIAS NO DOLOR. EXTREMIDADES SIN EDEMA.

I am not sure how to translate CORAZÓN RÍTMICO here.

Normal cardiac rhythm?

If anyone knows how it would appear on a medical report please let me know!

Thanks!

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
agree  Dejan Papež: In general this is the best translation: the heartbeat can be rhythmic but too slow or too fast, etc. In this case, it was 70 BPM, so it could be translated as 'normal rhythmic heartbeat'.
