En España, "hot dog" se traduce por "perritos calientes". En el enlace que me has indicado aparecen las salchichas que se usan para hacer infinidad de platos diferentes, son "salchichas de Frankfurt", pero digamos que eso es la base del "perrito caliente". Para hacer perritos calientes necesitarás comprar salchichas de Frankfurt. Espero haberte ayudado. Un saludo.

disagree  Susie Rawson: Although a hot dog skillet is clearly a skillet in which to cook hot dogs, in this case this is meant to be the name of a recipe. Furthermore, according to the Real Academia Española, sartén is femenine. http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sartén

  -> Oh I see... (maybe I should read the question next time) I thought it was a pan. Anyway, thanks... the RAE entry does say "En muchos lugares de América y España, usado como masculino." And Larousse lists it as masculine... strange.
