Company Liquidation Explanation: the abbreviation is a standard Israeli courts abbreviation for a Company Liquidation Case, the two digit numbers represent the month and year in which it was filed, and the longer string of digits is the actual case number. This format is referred to as the "new" case number format (as opposed to the old one in which multiple districts could end up with the same case number (i.e. 6956/97). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 hrs (2014-03-12 22:51:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I will add that as I do a great many translations of court documents, I try to keep to the spirit of the format and translate that particular acronym as "C.L.C." and then the case number.
