I-shaped profile Explanation: Logically what it would usually mean; but I don't know if there's a more specific term when talking about O-rings. Note that when you build this into your sentence, you'll probably need to turn it round a bit. |

I-section profile Explanation: Nearly agreed with Tony, but this is the correct form of words.
