Calling 'on demand' 是一家咖啡店的厨务领班的主要职责之一。这个厨房准备的食物主要是三明治、汤,烘培面包,也需要预备送餐服务的订单。

The head chef 厨务领班 uses somage to alert the team of chefs that an order has come into the kitchen, he will then "call" the order to each department, i.e. "one steak medium, one garden salad etc, when each department chef hears what they are required to cook they will answer the Head Chef with "yes Chef".

是不是三明治現叫特做的一个程序。领班得到顾客order后, 呼叫有活, 以提示安排员工接单, 因没有单时, 这些员工或有其他side job 要做。对顾客而言, 此类三明治叫作 sandwich made to order, 顾客可提譬如加辣少盐等特殊要求。
