In this case, "essence" means Spanish traditional values, this is why I cannot translate "Gente con esencia" as "Celebrities" (or anything similar).

Philgoddard, it is not Piel de Toro, it is a smaller brand but, as in Piel de Toro's case, these people also reflect the values of the company and I think keeping the nuance of "con esencia" is important.

"People with essence" sounds like "People who smell" to me, that's why I would like to have second opinion.

I quite agree Phil. But this kind of snobbish expression is hard to translate without sounding snobbish. "People who matter" comes close, as would "elite players", and suchlike

Is this Piel de Toro? If so, you need to explain that these are people who embody the company's values, and one of their slogans is "vuelve a tu esencia".
