“longue tenue”

English translation: long-lasting

French to English translations [PRO]
Cosmetics, Beauty / eczema of the eyelids
French term or phrase: “longue tenue”
context;
'Le maquillage : certains métaux (nickel, chrome, cobalt) ou la colophane (utilisée pour avoir un maquillage “longue tenue”), '
I have found various possible terms for this, 'long-lasting' being one, but I thought that 'semi-permanent' was a term more often used about make-up (in the UK). However, I don't know if it would really be equivalent.
Any suggestions?
