peer agreement (net): +1became (a) three-time champion Explanation: 'conquistou o tricampeonato' calls for, as I see it, something with a little 'oomph' (as they say in English) to it, 'com fanfarra e fougetes', more than just the objectively correct 'won his third championship'. So I suggest 'became a three-time champion'. The article 'a' could be removed and it would read just as well, conceivably better. A matter of taste. Just as a side note, it has become common, at least in US English, to refer to three consecutive championships, such as Michael Jordan accomplished with Chicago Bulls two separate times, as a three-peat, a back-formation from repeat, pronounced with emphasis on first syllable: RE-peat. Just mentioned this 'por amor ao arte' as it doesn't apply to Senna. "...by Mike Pryson.
