This is a Flemish text for the University of Louvain on their Internationalisation policy. I can find nothing on this term and have not found a workaround.

Het voordeel van 'portfolio holder' (was overigens al aangegeven in mijn eerste discussion entry; http://www.proz.com/kudoz/dutch_to_english/government_politi... ) is misschien dat je er altijd mee wegkomt maar er lijken specifiekere benamingen te zijn.
You could argue, in Britain the function of 'deelopdrachthouder/Director of the International Office' is called 'Director of Internationalisation'
Another example (but have a look at the abundance of examples), compare duties with 'deelopdrachthouder internationalisatie'.

Wat ik probeerde is om een equivalente term te vinden. Het heeft geen zin om een vertaling te bedenken want de term is veel te breed.
Dus ging ik op zoek naar die equivalente term. Die meen ik gevonden te hebben in "Director of Internationalisation"

However, I might be inclined to call the three 'deelopdrachthouders' 'Policy Officers' (charged with specific areas of policy), and Danny: the 'Senior Policy Officer' (or Principal Policy Officer).

You said 'the British equivalent', but of what, of 'deelopdrachthouder'? No. You also mentioned 'internationalisation director', which looks like another possibility, but that's already in English. So, no, I have no idea.

I think it might be something in the direction of: policy officer, policy advisor, or policy assistant. Maybe an 'opdrachthouder' is actually a policy advisor/officer, and a 'deelopdrachthouder' is actually a 'policy assistant' in this context. Who knows. I think Alexander needs to ask the client.

Reference information: The Vice-Chancellor structures the business of the University into portfolios, and constitutes Executive Board accordingly.
