In a document about construction requirements for stairs designated for emergency egress from a building: "La longueur minimale de palier par volée non contrariée est de 100cm." I can't imagine what the author means. Something to do with the landings between flights of stairs that are straight as opposed to turning 90 or 180 degrees at the landing maybe? All suggestions appreciated.
