Tal vez sea innecesario traducir la idea de "focus", pues queda implicito que un "workshop" siempre tiene un tema central del cual se ocupa.

A partir de esto si el tema a desarrollar es oportuno, o si lo es su tratamiento, podemos decir que el taller en si es el que resulta oportuno.

Si estamos de acuerdo con esta idea creo que resultaría más claro expresar, simplemente, que "agradecemos la realización de este oportuno taller".
